Friday Evening
Master Class 2.5. hours
All Levels in depth practice, interweaving many facets of healing yoga practices. This practice will include Asana, Mudra, Pranayama, Visualizations, Self Massage, Somatics, Muscle Activations, Deep Relaxation & Meditation.
Saturday Morning
Vinyasa Flow 1.5 hours
All Levels practice, focusing on synchronizing movement with breath to create a moving meditation. This practice will combine Somatics, Asana & end with Deep Relaxation. This practice will be short & sweet, and will be as challenging as you want it to be.
Satruday early Afternoon
Therapeutic Self Massage : 1.5 hours
All levels are welcome. This practice is the most important supplement for preserving one’s asana practice, exercise routine & daily quality of life. Do you have tension in your neck & shoulders, or in your low back? Using a combination of therapy balls to explore & release deep held tension throughout the body, this practice releases the stressor chemicals that have formed knots in the fascia & muscles.
Saturday Late Afternoon
Somatic Trance Restorative Yoga : 1.5 hours
All levels practice using gentle, repetitive & undulating movements to melt away tension, holding patterns & stressor chemicals. These practices organically induce a deep state of warm relaxation, meditative trance & presence.
Sunday Morning
Vinyasa Therapy: 2 hours
All Levels practice, combining the elements of a led class with a Mysore style self improvisation practice, depending on the needs of the group. In the led practice we will focus on synchronizing movement with breath to create a moving meditation. This practice will combine Somatics, Asana & end with Deep Relaxation. For the Mysore portion, anything goes (does not have to be Ashtanga). You can move, breath & practice any sequence you desire, I will simply be there to answer questions, do Postural Analysis, help each individual address injuries & create customized practices according to each individual’s unique needs.
Through a dedicated and innovative practice of Ashtanga Yoga & Yoga Therapy, Bryce (E-RYT 500 & C-IAYT) was able to overcome a severe case of adolescent scoliosis, avoid a total spinal fusion, and finally become pain free. Through this experience, Bryce has developed a unique insight into the use of Vinyasa Yoga as a deep healing modality. Interweaving asana; full body & hand mudra; pranayama; chakra, vayu & kosha awareness; prana vidya & visualizations; self massage; muscle isolations; somatics; deep relaxation & yoga nidra. Bryce can assist in safely and effectively addressing injuries while taking your practice to the next level. No Ashtanga or yoga experience is necessary. Beginners, as well as individuals suffering from pain or repetitive use injuries, are are highly encouraged.
